Who we are
Three generations, one street.
Ag Worx trades as J.S. (Jim) Jobe Ltd, and it has been looking after water in and around Matamata since 1967.
Jim Jobe started it. It is run now by his daughter Sylvia and her husband Terry Hawes, with their eldest son Craig managing the day to day. That is not a marketing line about family values — it is the reason the person who sold you a pump ten years ago is still the person who answers the phone about it.
The trade has changed around us. We started in milking machines and dairy water, added pumps and filtration for houses and farms, and took on pools and spas because Matamata needed somewhere to buy chlorine that was not an hour away. The principles have not moved: carry the stock, know the job, and stand behind it afterwards.

The other half
We make filtration as well as sell it.
Terry and Sylvia also own Forsi Innovations, which manufactures water filtration equipment for farm, industrial and municipal use.
It means the advice you get over the counter comes from people who build this gear, not just resell it — and that when something needs solving rather than replacing, there is a workshop behind the shop.
