General Manager
Craig Hawes
Started in the workshop sweeping floors, fitting milking systems and helping assemble Jobe Valves, then took over running the retail shop and parts to now running the day-to-day operations of the business.
Since taking over operations, he has grown the pool and spa side of the business by 80–90% in the last four years. He is also the Operations and Marketing Manager for Forsi Innovations.
If he is not at work, he will be out on the fire trucks as a proud member of the Matamata Volunteer Fire Brigade. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and 2 kids and enjoys blowing the cobwebs out on his 300hp jet ski.
Sales & Service Manager
Gene Gill
Looks after the running of the retail shop on a daily basis, doing everything from stocking the shelves, ordering parts, carrying out pool & spa water tests, giving advice on water quality issues, answering the phone and much more — he is a very integral part of the team.
When he is not at work you will find him either practising for or competing in Rock’n’Roll dance competitions. He is currently a champion dancer, winning 6 gold and 2 silver medals at the World Rock’n’Roll Champs in Brisbane, Australia and holds a number of titles here in New Zealand. If he is not dancing, he will be on his bike cycling to destinations around the Waikato.
Water Pump Technician
Grant Walker
Is part of our workshop crew that looks after all our water pump service work. He will either be in the workshop stripping pumps down and fixing them, or out in the field installing new water pumping systems.
When not working he is in the workshop at home repairing or overhauling motocross bikes for his sons. If not in the workshop he will be out on the boat fishing.
Pool & Spa Technician
Jarred Martin
Is our man out and about keeping everyone’s pools sparkling clean and swimmable all year round, doing everything from valeting pools to repairing pumps, filters, salt chlorinators and spa pools. He loves things being neat, clean and tidy.
When not working, you will find him at the gym training for his next CrossFit challenge or spending time with his partner.
Accounts Administrator
Karen Montague
Spends her days keeping all the figures in line and the accounts under control. She has owned her own business, so knows the importance of cash flow.
When not in the office, she is out walking the many tracks around the Matamata area or spending time with her grandkids — that is if she is not sitting ringside supporting her daughter, who is New Zealand’s first female UFC MMA fighter.
